We are writing on behalf of the University Faculty Senate (UFS) Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) Committee to kindly request your participation in our Listening Sessions.
The objective of the Listening Sessions, conducted in April and May, is to provide a safe space for faculty and staff to share their personal experiences related to IDEA on their campus and suggest changes they would like to see in the future. These Listening Sessions will give the members of the CUNY Community an opportunity to reflect on the current climate.
We will combine data from this round of Listening Sessions with data we collected in November and December 2024 and create a report that provides guidance on making progress on IDEA-related issues. All information gathered will be treated as confidential and reported only in aggregate form so that participants cannot be identified.
The four Listening Sessions will be held via Zoom at the following times:
Thursday, April 16, 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Friday, April 24, 1 pm – 2 pm
Monday, May 4, 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Wednesday, May 13, 10 am -11 am
