Creativity Social: Getting started with creative writing

Event Description:

This week, fiction writer Anu Jindal will lead students in exercises meant to help you get started with creative writing. We will practice strategies for working through creative blocks and generating new ideas. We’ll share our creative processes and use prompts to generate new work during the class. We’ll also talk about what might be holding us back—self-censorship, uncertainty about our ideas, worries about time or talent—and ways of moving past them.
