Debate Team Workshop: Evidence, Analysis, and Claims

Event Description:

Join the Debate Team and the Writing Center for a workshop on analyzing evidence when making persuasive claims.  Refreshments will be served! The workshop will be lead by Lukas Vrbka, a Writing Center consultant at Baruch and a PhD candidate in sociocultural anthropology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Lukas also holds a master’s degree in social work. His ethnographic research focuses on the relationship between governance, property, and ethics in U.S. cities.
